I met Stacy after difficulty with my legs had progressively gotten worse over the course of a couple of years. I was determined to remain active but muscle issues had progressed to the point I could not drive without pain and taking a brisk walk was fast becoming a thing of the past. Even sitting would result in pain. Stacy quickly went to work breaking up adhesions in my hamstrings and teaching me to use a roller. It’s been years since those debilitating leg issues and I’m happy to say my legs no longer cause me pain. Stacy is still key to keeping my 56-year-old body moving. She’s helped me with tension headaches and shoulder issues. Despite a body that tenses up easily and has had numerous issues, my work with Stacy allows me to swim, do Yoga, take long walks, and ride my bike without pain. She is a wonderful advocate of “keeping it moving” and a joy to spend time with. A true jem right here in Quakertown.

As a law enforcement fitness instructor, I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with ATC Stacy Ford for three years while she was employed at a federal law enforcement training academy.  During this time period, I had daily interaction with ATC Ford and was able to observe her assist and treat both the students and instructor staff.    At the beginning of each recruit training class, ATC Ford would provide the students with instruction on how to properly stretch, exercise, and the importance of balanced muscle groups, all in an effort to prevent injury.  Additionally, ATC Ford provided both student and instructor staff with physical treatment for training related ailments to include shin splints, tight and sore muscles, and tendonitis.  The treatment by ATC Ford included but was not limited to; massage techniques, proper static and dynamic stretching, electro therapy, and corrective exercise.  It is Stacy’s knowledge, professionalism, and personable attitude towards others, which makes her such a unique and outstanding certified athletic trainer.

After years of weightlifting, personal training and two tours in a federal law enforcement academy as a physical and tactical training Instructor, my body began to show signs of wear and tear.  Several doctors visit yielded the same message “you’re getting older and you have to stop training hard”, not what an athletic person wants to hear.  After meeting and working with Stacy, I’m on again, I’m training and doing it more effectively and efficiently than ever.  After a shoulder injury, Stacy provided a personal body evaluation/assessment as well as physical massage therapy, stretching techniques and corrective exercises that got me back in the swing of things. Stacy provided these same services for my entire staff and hundreds of law enforcement academy trainees that kept us “in the game”.

Let me know if this is good enough, honestly I could write a book on how many of us you helped!
